Strategy Continues Bitcoin Buying Spree, Holdings Reach New Milestone
Despite prevailing macroeconomic uncertainty and political instability, Strategy has maintained its recent aggressive accumulation of Bitcoin, adding another 334 units valued at $28.7 million.
While this latest acquisition is smaller than some of the firm’s substantial purchases made in recent months, it carries significant weight on two fronts. Firstly, it marks the third consecutive week of Bitcoin accumulation for Strategy. Secondly, and perhaps more critically, the company’s total Bitcoin holdings have now reached an all-time high of 848,000 BTC.
This latest move further cements Strategy’s position as the world’s largest corporate holder of the leading cryptocurrency. The company’s Bitcoin acquisition strategy commenced over six years ago, with an investment totaling nearly $64 billion, averaging $75,441 per Bitcoin.
At current market prices of approximately $86,000 per Bitcoin, Strategy’s holdings represent an unrealized gain of nearly $9 billion. Notably, a recent statement from Michael Saylor indicated that the company reported a $21 billion gain on digital assets in the third quarter of 2026.
The company also repurchased $176 million of its own stock, STRC, as its recovery gains momentum. STRC’s share price had fallen significantly below its par value of $100, dipping to $75 during the summer. However, it has since rebounded, closing Friday’s trading session near $99.5.
